DASI Solutions / Solidworks VAR Dominates in
attendance and awards at SOLIDWORKS WORLD 2008
DASI Solutions sends 23 engineers to
international design conference in San Diego, California and wins
respected industry awards
Pontiac, Michigan, January 28,
2008 – DASI Solutions, a
leading provider of engineering process solutions, sent 23 of its
engineers to SolidWorks World 2008 in San Diego, California for four
days of professional design networking, technical breakout sessions,
and more than 150 in-depth training sessions between January 20 -
23. DASI Solutions has been attending SolidWorks World since its
conception in 1998 and each year looks forward to the Partner
Pavilion, Model Mania Competition and seeing colleagues from other
Value Added Resellers around the world.
Darin Grosser, DASI’s Technical
Manager and Application Engineer, is the first engineer to become a
repeat first place winner in the Reseller Model Mania Competition
after winning the first ever competition in 2000. John MacArthur,
with DASI only 5 months, took third place among all the Reseller
Application Engineers at the conference. DASI also took home the
SolidWorks User Group Network Reseller of the Year award. Dennis
Strieter was also recognized as being a top performer in the region
for sales.
Darin Grosser says this when
looking back on attending SolidWorks World for the past ten
years:
This will be my 10th
consecutive SolidWorks World dating back to Boston in 1998.
Every year I look forward to seeing, face to face, many of the
SolidWorks staff members and Solution Partner employees that we
work with over the phone all year. It’s also a great
opportunity to meet many of the new people involved in the
SolidWorks community offering additional solutions that we can
provide to our customers.
Even though it may seem like SolidWorks World is a ‘social
event’, there are literally hundreds of breakout sessions where
members of the User and Reseller community can learn valuable
information and techniques to be able to exploit the already
powerful capabilities of SolidWorks and its Solution Partner
products.
It goes without saying that DASI Solutions absorbs a
considerable expense to send 23 members of our staff to
SolidWorks World, but we wouldn’t do so if we didn’t see a
worthwhile benefit from the experience.
Whether you’re new to the SolidWorks community or have been a
part of it for more than a decade, going to SolidWorks World is
an opportunity not to be missed.
