PDMWorks
Advanced Server
In today's engineering environment we are at a point where virtually all
information pertaining to a project or design is being developed,
maintained and accessed electronically.
PDMWorks provides a workgroup
methodology to managing engineering documentation as well as supporting
the collaborative needs for the engineering team. By focusing on a data
management solution that addresses the specific needs of the engineering
team, designers can actually work faster and develop a more complete
design that contains not only the graphical portion of the design, but
also includes non-graphical design information.

As a design reaches certain
milestones, it typically becomes necessary to share the workgroup
information at a broader corporate level; the PDMWorks Advanced Server
supports this need of communicating workgroup design information at a
corporate level.
PDMWorks Advanced Server
provides the ability to extend access to design information beyond
engineering to groups such as: purchasing, sales, support,
manufacturing, vendors, customers, etc.
PDMWorks

task per a specific PDMWorks event. For example: Upon the
RELEASE of a drawing, automate the creation of a PDF file
and synchronize to an MRP or other corporate system.
